To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, EFDN ask you to send a copy of your ID attached with the request. In this copy, hide your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone; the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) by blocking this information out in black. This is to protect your privacy. EFDN will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within four weeks. Immediately, after your request has been processed, EFDN will destroy the received copy of your identity document.

EFDN cannot approve your request in the following cases:

  • if the request is unfounded
  • if it concerns a request that EFDN are legally not required to comply with
  • if EFDN need your personal data for the execution of the agreement EFDN have with you
  • if EFDN have a legitimate interest in processing the data.

Automatic processing

EFDN do not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for you.

Security

European Football for Development Network Foundation takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. EFDN require third parties, that handle or process your personal data for EFDN, to do the same. Access to your personal data is limited and is only allowed to EFDN employees and parties on a “need-to-know” basis. EFDN security measures are continuously improved in accordance with the latest security standards.
